(Destiney has only really ever had two people in her life that mattered when it came to relationships. Most others had been one night stands or friends with benefits. Before Ishgard she wasn’t really old enough to be worried about dating. An after Ishgard she wasn’t in a good mental state to even attempt. The only real time she faced any real rejection in terms of a relationship was with Leon the night she was drunk an kissed him. He pulled away an gave her the silent treatment for a few days. (Lance has recently been rejected. Granted Miu was very kind in the way she rejected him. She tried her best to let him down gently. As such the two of them are still friends despite things not working for them as a couple. I wrote about that event here.)
