Lance was ready now to take back what he had said about her not being crazy as she propelled herself forward with a bit of magic. Granted it was a good kind of crazy. The kind that was often more fun then actually crazy. He laughed as he watched her getting away from him much easier now with the magical assistance.

He moved to sprint to try an not to lose her completely. Granted sprinting in armor was tiring but he was determined to keep at least from losing too badly. Though his sprint did slow a moment as he passed that deepeye in the snow. Those little feet kicking in the air. If he had had the breath to laugh right then instead of keeping up, he would have. It was a funny sight to see. He would at the very least have a story to tell someone later at the very least. For now he needed to try to catch up some even if he would never catch her with magic to help her. At times like now he wished he had been trained with some magic skill.

By the time the knight had reached her there was quite a gathering. Blots of ink speckling white as crows wandered about and rolled around in the powdery snow. In the midst of it all Svanielle was crouching down near one of the sparse bushes, delicately removing fresh green sprigs and slipping them into her satchel.

A crow would look to Lance before calling out and alerting the other blackbirds to raise their heads. This also prompted the woman to turn to him with a bright smile.

“Oh, you actually caught up! I’ll to admit Ser I never had a knight last for that long.”

So many crows. He blinked in surprise and tried not to be alarmed. The birds actually had seemed to be enjoying themselves in the snow. Not to mention the fact that Svan did not seem the least bit worried about their presence. If they were not harming anything there was no real reason for alarm. Not that their gazes in his direction were comfortable. It was like being the center of attention in a crowded room.

Well if that was how it would be… He could easily pretend this was a crowded room with a bunch of other upper class people staring him down. Simply ignore them and let them have their fun. They weren’t hurting anything by staring. His gaze went to Svan and he grinned as he caught his breath for the moment.

“I work out pretty regularly.” He said as he was careful not to kick or step on any of the crows as he made his way over to where Svan was removing some sprigs with delicate precision. “You seemed to have attracted quite the audience too. Friends of yours?” He meant it in jest mostly since he didn’t know how true those words would end up being. “I can help if you wish or at the very least stand guard while you work. Would allow you to work without worry anyways.”
