The sudden exclamation caught Kheda off guard, and she jumped briefly, before moving. She didn’t even think, choosing instead to simply run forward. Thankfully, that seemed to work out, as she narrowly managed to avoid being struck by a sword. She glanced behind her just as the sword hit the ground, gritting her teeth and quickly spinning around to thrust her spear at her enemy.
“Thanks for the heads up!”
She would have been in big trouble, had the other not noticed or said anything in warning.
A brief nod from the hyuran woman before hurrying over with her sword and shield drawn. She stood beside the miqo’te woman with a hint of a smile. Too much travel had left her itching for a fight or at least helping in one.
“You looked like you could use a hand. Hope you don’t mind. Just point me to whoever needs a good shield to the face.”
