“I am merely doing the best I can. Praise is nice but not necessary. Thank you all the same though.” She gives a small smile and polite nod of her head before returning to her tome.

(Destiney doesn’t always take praise to heart though she should. She doubts herself and doesn’t always feel the praise is earned. Not to say she never accepts praise. There are indeed times it warms her to hear praise. It mostly seems to depend on what sort of emotional state she is currently in when the praise is given.)
