Valentin Charledore, only child of Leandra Charledore and Leonceault Chassebel. The father’s name sound familiar? Probably because he’s a character from Destiney’s past. A part of me wanted to explore Leonceault as a character but there was one big problem. He’s dead.

So after some calculating for ages and such, in comes Valen. (And his little magpie Lily.) Barely eighteen and out to make a name for himself that would make his father proud. He’s heard all the stories from his mother and knows it was a one-night stand between his father and mother. An that his father was terminally ill. He is his father’s legacy. A bit of a minstrel (inheriting his father’s talent for music and charm) and a bounty hunter for hire as he is skilled with a bow.

Oh an that also makes him Alex’s nephew since Leon and Alex are half-brothers. Not that Alex knows he has any living relatives beyond his waste of life father. Nor does Valen know Alex but there is a family resemblance.
