Good Morning/Afternoon to my lovely internet friends!
This year on November 3rd (TODAY!) I will be once again doing a 25 hour gaming marathon(thanks daylight savings time.) Extra Life is a fun way to support the epic job of saving and improving the lives of children at CMN Hospitals. Gamers like me will unite together to celebrate and help save the lives of such strong kids.
This year SickKids is undergoing a really challenging task, which is to rebuild their aging building and systems while keeping the hospital open. The money you donate goes to help save the day and allows them to continue to heal kids through this big hurdle!
This year my personal fundraising goal is $2500, a higher amount of money then I have ever raised in one year! Thankfully I’m off to a great start with $1000 already raised from Extra Life United this past year. I traveled down to Orlando to participate in a life changing event in support of SickKids. Through the power of board gaming I was able to come in fourth bringing home money that is desperately needed by my hospital.
My mission this year has been once again focused on helping spread the word about Extra Life through the Toronto Guild. I continued my roll as Secretary but continued to push for positive changes for the program as a whole. I now help run bi-monthly meetings to help foster discussion and support between the Canadian Guilds. I would appreciate a gift of any amount or you can join me on this epic quest and become a participant yourself!
