“Riski! You are a doll.” Destiney laughs warmly, a slight blush creeping onto her cheeks before hugging him gently. “Thank you very much for the compliment, my friend.”
Destiney was frustrated to say the least. Not to mention running out of ideas on how to deal with his stubborn streak. Barely a response at all to her words. One very short sentence. Dismissive at that. It was troubling and almost heartbreaking.
“Basteaux… Please.” Her tone was soft and pleading as she looked up at him for several long moments. Finally she lets out a heavy sigh before turning away from him to sit down on the ground. Tucking her knees up and wrapping her arms around them. Daisy flutters over to sit on her shoulder and pats her cheek. “I don’t know what else I can say to you…”
(His biggest fears are imprisonment and death. He refuses to rot away in a prison and he’s not ready to die yet. He’ll fight tooth and nail to avoid either. Though he’d definitely rather die then end up in any kind of prison.)
(Her biggest fears are being crippled and primals. She doesn’t want to be held back or have to stop seeking her dreams by an injury that would cripple her. Nor does she wish to become Tempered by a primal.)
(His biggest fears are heights and getting close to people. Heights is mostly things like flying or being near edges up high. If he can’t see the drop that might await him then he has an easier time keeping a lid on that fear. He fears getting close to people because he worries they will only hurt or leave him.)

(Her fears have slightly changed over time but most remain the same. She still fears failing to protect her loved ones and has a fear of slimy/creepy things. She no longer fears fighting against other spoken now. Now though she does fear dying finally. At least dying without a good reason.)

(Currently Lance’s biggest fears are something happening to the family and friends he does care for, facing down a dragon head on, and dishonoring Haillenarte in some way. He’s pretty good at hiding his fears though instead of letting them make him a victim.)

(Destiney responds well to touch. A random stranger she would be rather leery on why they are touching her but wouldn’t automatically remove herself unless it is a bad touch. Gentle touches of the hand or arm/shoulder are acceptable. A loved one’s touch comforts her the most. A friend’s touch is also very welcome. Hugs and other comforting touches.)
(Lance is very much restrained about touching. He was actually shocked the first time Tara hugged him. He would move away from a stranger and ask them not to touch him. A friend he avoids touching most of the time but would not ask them not to do it. He’d allow it an just sort of sigh and smile. A loved one… Please hug him! XD He secretly enjoys it.)

(Destiney and Stefan both had a rather average childhood and loving home life. Their parents were supportive and kind. Destiney had friends and actively went exploring with her best friend. Stefan often played the loner and sat at home with books. Things didn’t fall apart for them at home until about they were about fifteen. Stefan ran away and Dest was sent to Ishgard to other relatives. Dad was killed in the fighting with the Garleans. Dest still goes home to visit her mother at times now though.)
(Lance’s home life was a bit stern and cold especially after he reached an age to be old enough to begin learning to use a sword. His parents expected a lot from him as the eldest son. He was expected to serve House Dzemael and marry well. He pretty much disappointed them on both of those things. Which began the divide between him and his father an grandfather. So his family life has been strained for a long time.)
(Keaira had a very happy home life. She the eldest of four kids to a father who works in the Brass Blades and a mother who is an alchemist. Her parents have always encouraged her to pursue her interests and explore the world. They want her to make a life for herself.)
(Alexois… Oh boy. His is the tragic home life. Father who refused to acknowledge him. Mother who didn’t care about him and sold him to a highborn Ishgardian. Rescued by his mentor who taught him to be the cruel man he is today.)

(Destiney doesn’t always obtain a lot of injuries with being a healer but she has had three significant life threatening ones. Prior to becoming a healer she nearly died to some Imperials. One had pierced her shoulder with his lance to pin her to a wall. Only for his buddy to stab Dest in the chest with his sword. It would have been a killing blow had her Uncle, Leon, and Moon Dove not been coming to the rescue as it happened. One of her injuries hadn’t been physical, it was a curse. Her FC at that time helped lift the curse before it could kill her. The most recent was her being careless in the South Shroud while helping the Gods’ Quiver. She took a poisoned arrow to the same shoulder she had been struck by that Imperial years before. She made it to Soren in time for him to take care of her since she wasn’t thinking clearly from fear and pain.)
(Lance has taken a lot of small injuries over his years working as an Ishgardian knight. So far his worst has been the shoulder Leera pierced outside of Dragonhead. Tara tended it only for his own father to reopen the wound. The problem was it was his sword arm which restricted what he was able to do if he decided to listen to Tara. Which he did though he really wanted to be fighting fit faster then she wanted to allow. Raiden though fractured some bones when the two of them fought. I think it was his lower forearm of his shield arm and a couple of ribs.)
(Alex… His worse injuries are most recent. He’s suffered a LOT of injuries over the years but Soren pretty much about gutted and sliced him to ribbons in their fight recently. He probably would have died if Aeri hadn’t saved him. He’s still currently recovering. He had numerous scars on his back from an Ishgardian highborn which he has recently had a black stylized dragon tattooed over. The scar on his face over his one eye is from Lancefer back when they had their falling out. Or well when Alex was forced to betray Lance for the job he was working.)

(Destiney doesn’t always take praise to heart though she should. She doubts herself and doesn’t always feel the praise is earned. Not to say she never accepts praise. There are indeed times it warms her to hear praise. It mostly seems to depend on what sort of emotional state she is currently in when the praise is given.)

“Yes. A few things… Like the Imperials I killed years ago in revenge for my father’s death. It was also an attempt to get myself killed too. There was also the time I listened in on a private conversation between Oni, Aimee, and Frost before passing on what I learned to Leera for fear they were going to hurt him. Also the fight I recently had with Soren. Some of the words I said… They were very wrong and unacceptable.”
