Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep

haurchefantgreystone:

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
-Mary Elizabeth Frye

So I might have been a smidgen… Well I don’t know. XD I wasn’t feeling entirely energetic yesterday. Really worn out with all this holiday stuff. An for some reason decided to play around on Goblin for a few hours because I know a couple of wonderful people over there. So here is Kearia Stark. She has Dest’s old look before I became a RPer on XIV. Not sure if she will be more then something to mess around with or a very casual character with aspirations to become one of the Sultansworn. I sort of miss my old Hyur Midlander look just a bit.

Archetype: Destiney

your archetype is the realist.

traits: practical, understanding, honest, brutal, logical, creator, intelligent, sensible, down-to-earth, reasonable

the realist is most commonly used to symbolize the highest possible outcome in a dire situation. they are the ones who have everything planned, and hand out reality checks as if they were pamphlets to those who need them–which, quite honestly, is everyone who isn’t a realist. although they can be harsh (brutal truth over merciful), they are nurturers and care more than they let on. realists tend to do things that will lead to the best outcome, and use their knowledge of reading people to manipulate situations and problems in order to get out of a rock and a hard place.

fictional characters that are realists: hermione granger, eddard stark, dana scully, thorin oakenshield, lestrade (from sherlock), leia organa, willow rosenberg

other personality types that go with this: ravenclaw, horned serpent, poseidon, artemis

There are a LOT of blogs out there so if I miss a few know that you’re still awesome. I am just brain dead at 7am and may not nab them all.

Some of you I am close to, others I’ve never even met. But even with the latter, know that the content you put out is loved and appreciated. I wish everyone happy holidays and a safe entry into 2017. Let’s hope its better than 2016!

This totally made my day better. ❤ Thank you!

Destiney couldn’t help but laugh, arms wrapped around her waist. Lance’s bewildered expression was too priceless. Snow still was falling off his hair where he had been hit with a snowball in the back of the head. Some down the collar of his armor.

“So this is how it is?” Lance asked with a raised brow at his cousin. A grin slowly spread across his face as he bent down to scoop up a handful of snow. This sent Destiney turning to sprint away. Still laughing of course. Lance gave chase as best as he could while still armored. Destiney’s warm lighter clothes offered her more movement then his own.

Destiney’s run towards freedom ended too quickly. Not seeing the small rock sticking up as it was covered with snow. As well as she had been too busy glancing back to see how close Lance had gotten. The snowball Lance had been preparing had been thrown just at that moment. The rock saving Destiney from the snowball to the back but it found a different target instead. A small Raen girl that neither of them had noticed in their merriment.

Both of them froze with wide eyes. A silent look between them. Lance was the first to move again, followed closely by Destiney.

“I’m so sorry for that. I fear my aim was poorly chosen. I do hope you are alright.” Lance apologized to the poor girl.

4. What’s something you dislike about how you write or wish you were better at? |54. What’s a trope or plot you love but you’ve never gotten to roleplay or never gotten to roleplay in completion? ( Just answer one if two is too much c: I just find these two interesting about others. )

I feel sometimes I get repetitive with words. Especially on game. I’m trying to think quickly an my brain doesn’t always keep up well enough for me to think of a different word to use. So I feel I can sometimes be a tad bland with being so repetitive an not as descriptive. Sometimes even off the game I catch myself not being nearly as detailed as I would love to be. So I would like to be better at that.

As for trope/plot stuff… My favorite has always been unlikely allies who have to work together for a common goal an in that process become closer, even friends or lovers. (Such as my RP pal an my cousin once shipped Richter Belmont of Castlevania and Clare of Claymore in our old RP.) Only once has one of my stories with that sort of plot reached completion an even then the ending was lack luster because we had lost too many players at that point because of life. Though I am always overly disappointed when a plot reaches it’s completion. Mostly because it means that story is usually over.

12. Why do you roleplay?

Because I love to be creative. Writing for an RP is like an interactive story. There are so many unknown variables you can’t account for like you can writing alone. It keeps things interesting because you can’t always predict what that other person might say or do. An then you have to think of how your character is going to respond to whatever happened. Sometimes it’s easy an other times it makes you really stop an think. I enjoy writing stories with others. It’s just way more fun then writing alone.
