Not to mention how had someone gotten it onto his window ledge. Only a few people knew where he officially stayed. Finding something from the kitchen to scoop the rose up with, not trusting to touch it. For all he knew it was someone out to get him. He had enough enemies. Then proceeding to double check the locks and few traps he kept hidden about the place. The rose was promptly dumped outside into the ocean once he was satisfied.
