• *someone says something* “what?” *repeats themselves* “sorry?” *repeats themselves again* “pardon?”

•"hey, y’see the red thing at the top of the shelf, will you get it?“ “Sorry, what?” “On the sh-” “oh yeah sure, I’ll get it.”

•*doesn’t hear teacher because someone’s pen is making a scratchy sound at the back of the room*

•*replays video 10 ten times to figure out what they’re saying*

•teachers asking, “why do you always stop writing in the middle of a sentence, just write down whatever I’m saying,” followed by the response, “I’m just processing it,” rebuked by, “we’ll stop processing it and just write.”

•*gets really focused on staring out the window and goes through four songs without hearing a single on*

someone is whispering to their friends in the library, you don’t even know who this person is but you know their major, what state they grew up in, and their hobbies during high school. you just wanted to find a quiet spot to do your chemistry homework.

wanting to chime in on other people’s conversations all the time, but don’t, because you’re not suppose to be “listening” to them.

being the only person in the house that can hear that awful buzzing sound certain electronics make

hiding in your room because everything is too loud.

being told that you have dog-like hearing by friends and family

being yelled at for “not listening” by friends and family.

This entire post is so fucking relatable it hurts

Forgetting how to think because ambient noise is drowning out your internal monologue. 

“No, I don’t need the volume up, I’d just really like to put on subtitles. No, I don’t need to move closer, I just…”

Leaving the room whenever someone starts talking on the phone. 

Pausing your video whenever someone starts talking but trying really really hard not to seem passive aggressive about it. 

Struggling to explain why this one sound is the most horrible thing in the world while other very similar sounds are fine.

    I am 32 heading towards 33.
  2. What’s your current job?
    Customer service nightmare. Does that work? XD
  3. What are you talented at?
    Being creative. Writing, doodling, arts and craftys.
  4. What is a big goal you are working toward (or have already achieved)?
    To improve my doodling skills back to where I used to be art wise or better.
  5. What’s your aesthetic?
    Hmm. Elves, dragons, magic, anime, blue and silver.
  6. Do you collect anything?
    Dragon statues and cute plush things, especially dragons or penguins.
  7. What’s a topic you always talk about?
    Games, Books, Anime, Manga. XD I’m a nerd. Bring up stuff I like an I can talk endlessly. Especially books.
  8. What’s a pet peeve of yours?
    I think my biggest pet peeve is someone insulting my intelligence. That gets one my nerves the fastest. Like when I fractured my elbow and got comments of ‘That was smart.’ Because yes and accident requires intelligence…
  9. Good advice to give?
    It’s better to let go of toxic people and move on. Karma will get them eventually and you shouldn’t let them keep making you miserable.

last thing I ate: Fireworks Oreos (girl at work brought them with her an let me try them lol.)

where would you want to time travel to?: Honestly? No where. As much fun as some of the time periods would be, I much prefer the technology of today. So unless it’s just a visit brief I’d rather not. Otherwise I’d have loved to see some of the past eras of Japan if it was just a visit.

fictional character I would hang out with for a day: Karigan G’ladheon (Not my Kari. The Karigan she is named for and based off of from the Green Rider series.)

If I could be anywhere right now, where would I be?: Somewhere warmer. I thought we were in Spring…

Oh goodness. o_o; Um… Sure!

1. Video games (of course. I’ve made so many wonderful friends because of games. An things to write about an obsess with friends over. Stories to get lost in and daydream about.)

2. My quilt (My grandmother made it for me when I was little. It’s special to me and always has been. Even more so now that she is gone.)

3. Plushies (Yes soft plush things. I have a small army of them. Their cute smiling faces make me happy when I’m sad.)

4. Writing (I wouldn’t be RPing if I didn’t love to write. I get so excited when I come home to see someone I am writing with has left me a response.)

5. Close friends (The kind that you can talk to an obsess over the strangest things with. Or tell them about your bad day without free of being judged badly.)
