“I resent a few things. Those in power at Garlemald who ordered that battle that killed my father.” She says with a scowl as she ticks off the items on her fingers. One down and who knew how many more to go as she had only started. “People who think it is alright to bully anyone they consider beneath them. People who use others for their own personal gain without considering the fact they are toying with someone’s emotions.” She looks thoughtful for a moment as she pauses. Finally she decides to add one last thing. “An those who decided it was okay to put people through inhumane experiments. It is not right to totally alter someone’s life like that or to make them suffer. Even if they end up stronger for it, it does not make it right.”
“What do I resent?” Lance blinks at the question asked of him. His face becomes grim as he thinks. “The truth of the war being hidden from us for so long, not allowing Ishgard to know peace and dragging things far longer then they ever should have. Losing Lord Choldebaimt at the Steel Vigil to the enemy. He was truly a great man.” He sighs before closing his eyes in silent prayer to Halone for a moment. When he opens his eyes again he nods in confirmation. “Those are the few things I resent at present.”
