Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?

(Going OOC for this answer. Just easier. Thanks for asking, @sylvain-tolbert)

image

(She knows she has people who dislike her but has not gone as far as calling them enemies. She probably should. Her enemies are few though. Mostly her Grandfather and Uncle in the Aurifore family. She’s a half-breed from a Ishgardian mother who was disowned. Dest has been making herself more known over time which does not please Grandfather. She has a ‘pet’ dragonet. Lady is not really a pet but a small dragonet that has chosen Destiney as an interesting person to follow about. Destiney allows it because she likes Lady’s company. As well as she’s been dealing with some very old sharylan astrologian cards that were found while on a mission with the Order. She’s only used them for her company though she had asked around in Ishgard seeking answers about the cards before. Every thing she seems to do in Ishgard draws more ire from her family who lives there. Her Grandfather is stuck in the old ways, preferring to look at some of the things she’s doing as heresy. Other then her family, Dest doesn’t really have any enemies of her own.)

image

(Lance is in about the same boat as Destiney. Though not quite either. He’s not yet completely made his family his enemies. It will happen with time due to his actions and choices. Other then that he personally considers Heretics and dragons of Nidhogg’s brood to be his enemies. Anyone who tries to harm those he cares about of the nation he calls home is an enemy to him. He even considered one man of the Order and enemy before he learned more because the man had a reputation that Lance had once heard rumors about long ago. While he no longer considers the former Durendaire man an enemy, Lance still keeps a wary eye on him because of that reputation because he’s afraid that reputation will damn his cousin further.)

Does your character have a deep and/or dark secret? If so, what is it?

(Not something I think either of my characters would answer willingly. So this answer is going to be OOC instead.)

image

(Destiney has only really told a few people in the Order about the way she reacts being near a Garlean base in Eorzea. It brings back that horrible day outside the Castrum. She can’t even bring herself to aim her bow at enemies that are people. Her hands shake an she finds herself freezing up. Her choices that day still haunt her. She’s gotten better but sometimes still finds herself struggling through it. Like the last mission was rough for her when they went to deal with bandits. She was nearly sick about the whole incident an spent most of her time hiding near Nathaniel.)

(And then there is the fact she hasn’t told anyone about when she’s really feeling low an emotionally broken she still has some self destructive tendencies. She’ll be reckless an get hurt then not bother to heal her own injuries despite being a healer. It is easy to tell when she is feeling that way because she will wear a half-mask styled after her father’s old service mask for the Gods’ Quiver. She wears it when she works in the Shroud but if she is wearing it beyond that… She’s not in a good place emotionally.)

image

(Lance is not in as bad of a place as Destiney. He is mostly an open book for the most part unless it is a secret in needing of being kept. I think his only deep dark secret is he is not willing to admit just how scared he is for his future. He is setting himself up for a fall from grace with his family. He has so little life experience beyond his time in service to Haillenarte and it leaves him worried. Whether the fall comes from protecting his cousin’s secrets or the woman he is falling in love with. He knows there is no way his family will approve of the woman he has fallen for. So between the two ladies he knows his fall is coming. It leaves him feel so very uncertain about where the future is going for himself.)

Wouldn’t mind giving this a shot for Destiney or Lancefer.

Screenshot dump time. XD

A couple of the Halloween party at the Order’s house. Including one of Dest’s costume in better lighting. I was last showing up cause I was at a Haunted Camp with a friend irl. So silly me didn’t remember to take some pictures until things were winding down.

Two of new friends made. 😀 Should have been a third but I was too busy freaking out on PSN to my friends that I found Raven ( @housealderscorn) while I was waiting on Basteaux ( @duskrecluse). So I forgot to take a screenshot. XD Yes I was very tickled to find him even if he was doing a whole headless horseman thing at the time that I did. Pearl Chocolates for Desty. ❤ XD An Lance made a new friend last night when he ran into Miu ( @michisilver). (Well meeting Bast and Miu were planned out to a degree. It’s still new friends for Dest and Lance. ^^ Well an myself too. They are both wonderful players to talk to.)

An of course a couple of pictures from a run of Xelphatol with Chloe, Quarcy, and Oni ( @onidephor). There may have been shenanigans while we waited on Quarcy to log back in from his d/cs. XD An the fate of Dest’s fairy may have been judged. RIP Daisy. Haha.
