(Stefan is made of intelligence, loneliness, and determination. He’s my grumpy mage. He just refuses to let anyone close. Always afraid of them leaving him. He’s been struggling on his own for the last ten years of his life. Of course by his own choice since he cut ties to his family on his own. So most of his life is devoted to his studies and exploring ruins. Esper (his ruby carbuncle) is about the only friend he really has.

(Keaira is made of fire, hard work, and iron. She desires to learn to fight and one day become a Sultansworn. She’s bold and adventurous. Right now she’s traveling as part of her real world training since there is only so much one can learn from spars with other members of the gladiator’s guild. She’s not afraid to work hard and get her hands dirty despite her pretty looks.)

(Alex… Oh Alex. He’s made of anger, pain, and darkness. He’s my bad kid through and through. Even though Aeri has helped redirect some of his aggression recently, he is still a jerk. He’s had the worst life out of all my kids and it shows in his behaviors. He has a hatred of highborn Ishgardians and is a wanted criminal in Ishgard even. He’s been trained to be a cold-hearted bastard good at killing. Often wears a cocky grin and attitude that make him hard to love. An that is how he prefers things to be.)

“Change anything… No. Maybe… Changing history would change the present. Not always for the better. Sometimes it just makes things worse. I wish I had not caused my mother such grief by running away. Yet… I might not be on my current path had I remained. I might have been forced a different direction had I not left when I did. I might not be the mage I am. I might have ended up in Ishgard for years like my sister. No I think I am more content the way things are then musing over what might have been had I changed my choices that day.”

“I enjoy art and music. Though I am afraid I am not well skilled in either. I will gladly listen to others who play beautifully or admire some skilled art. I’ve never been to a play or some of the other arts that might exist. I would not be against broadening my horizons.”

“As for curiosity… Very. Thankfully it has not gotten me into too much danger yet. At least none that I have not been able to get myself out of.”

“I… I don’t have time for such. Well… I haven’t before. My studies and surviving were always more important then such things. Then the study of ruins became a priority. So… I honestly can not say I enjoy any as I have never tried.”

“Curiosity is healthy. As long as caution is used so as not to run headlong into danger. I might… have gotten Esper and myself into a few sticky situations because of the curiosity that ruins tends to invoke in me. I no longer go into ruins along if I can help it.”

“The Sea of Clouds. The nights out there are absolutely gorgeous. The sky feels like it goes on forever and less clouds to obscure the view. So the amount of stars that can be seen feels endless. Like a field of stars.”

“Ruins. Any of them. The lesser known the better. The wealth of information and lost knowledge to be gleaned… That is a definite favorite of mine. I am especially interested in the lost cities like Nym, Mhach, and Amdapor.”

“Simple. My knowledge and skill of course. Without those I might not have survived the last ten years on my own. I knew I could do it and I did it. I put my knowledge to the test and proved myself. How can one not admire such?”

“My
enthusiasm

I guess. I have a desire to do something and I do it. My passion drives me. I don’t let those that mock me for a pretty face stop me from being what I want to be or doing the things I wish. I just push and try harder. I don’t like to groan or moan about jobs. They need done and someone has to do them. If not me then who?
