“I am not exactly a big fan of dancing. It lost it’s appeal a long time ago from all those parties I was dragged to over the years. Dancing with pretty ladies because I had to, not because I wanted to. Because it was what was expected of me. Listening to those ladies an their boring chatter about their day to day lives in Ishgard.” He sighs an puts a hand to his forehead. “I would not even know how I would want to dance if it had been my choice. I only know proper dances taught growing up in Ishgard upper class society.”

“I have seen a few people dancing more freely on my trips outside of familiar territory. I’m still unsure what to think of that sort of dancing honestly. Though I will admit it looks less stiff and sometimes more fluid. Maybe someday I will have a reason to give it a try. I have no interest in making a fool of myself at this time though. I have enough to worry about.”

“Depends how warm that nice weather is. If it’s too warm to work I’ll find a nice shady spot an take a nap or a river to take a dip in to cool off. Other wise I just keep working whether it is a job or just practicing. I can’t be good at what I want to do if I don’t keep working at it. Practice makes perfect ya? An if I want to be taken seriously then I got to keep trying. Warm weather or not.”

“Yes and no. I would say it depends on the severity of what I am being asked to forgive and forget. If it something simple like a white lie or forgetting something on accident. Losing track of time. Then yes those kind of things I can forgive and forget. They aren’t meant with malicious intent.”

“However… If we are talking betrayal… Murder… Or any other thing that is particularly damaging, then no. There are some things I don’t think anyone deserves to be forgiven for. Just as I will never forgive Alexois for the things he has done.”

“Father was a good man. He didn’t deserve to die the way he did. Granted he would have been proud to die serving Gridania. He was always kind and warm. Though a bit strict when it came to my archery. Probably because I kept insisting I would one day join the Gods’ Quiver. He was in the Whales unit which serves directly under the Bowlord himself. He always made sure to give his all. I always looked up to him. Wanted to be like him… I miss him so much some days. An wonder if I have disappointed him…”

“Next door was a family friend. The man lived alone but he worked in the Wood Wailers. He was my father’s best friend. Always kept an eye over us when my brother and I would go play near the docks in the east side of the Twelveswood. He managed to survive the Calamity and I still sometimes offer my help to the Wailers for his sake. I think he enjoys having my company on occasion. I think he still sees the girl I used to be, playing around and having a good time with either my brother, Atix, or Dek.”

“Moon Dove was her name. There was no real falling out between us. We just ended up going our separate ways after the death of Leon. But she was more my Uncle’s friend then mine anyways. Yet she was always kind to me. We just don’t see each other nor speak to each other anymore. I have no idea where she went or what became of her once my Uncle and I went off on our way. At the time I did not care much either. I had too much on my mind to worry about her. She was a tough woman an could care for herself.”

“His name was Alexois Dubeltaire. I thought he was my friend. Only to find out the hard way I never even truly knew the man. We did spend time off duty together. An in the end he betrayed us. Apparently our friendship was very one-sided. Serves me right for trusting someone so easily.”

“Ah… I…” Destiney blushes an rubs the back of her head, looking away from the question. “I hate to be so shallow but it depends on the person doing the flirting. An the situation. An what sort of mood I am in…”

She smiles weakly an shrugs.

(It’s like she said. Depends on who is doing the flirting on her actual reaction. If it’s a dark skinned wildwood or duskwight then she is a blushing stuttering mess an very nervous and jumpy. If it’s a good looking person she will blush an try to wave off their words. She doesn’t always accept compliments well. If it’s not someone she’s found an interest in she will smile politely and find a way to excuse herself. An that is on a normal day. If she’s in one of her moods she may just flirt back if she’s looking for company. If it’s someone she knows like Felix and his innuendos while they are drinking… Expect lots of blushing and groaning. An giving him heck though she clearly doesn’t try hard nor admit where her mind wanders when he does this. She kind of enjoys it though she would never admit it. She doesn’t like mixing work an pleasure and she happens to work with Felix.)

“Substance abuse?! I would never resort to such. I am above such nonsense.” Lance frowns an crosses his arms. “Are we done here?”

(Lance doesn’t have a current problem with any substance abuse. He may have tried a few things though in the past. Especially while he and Alexois were still getting along. Alex was a bad influence. An he tries his best not to go back to drugs or anything bad again. It reminds him too much of the man who betrayed him. Though he does give it thought once in a while with the way his family puts so much pressure on him.)

“It really depends on how big of a bag I happen to be carrying with me at the time. Sometimes it’s just simple things. Like a couple bottles of potion an ether. Of course some gil. An usually my tome. That’s if my bag is smaller.” Destiney looks around her room before grabbing her regular everyday bag. She checks the contents within. “If it’s my normal sized bag then add in my reading cards and notebook as well to what I already mentioned. As well as a couple empty vials in case we need them on mission for some reason.”

“Well definitely not me. I barely know how to cook much of anything honestly. Though J’siris has been teaching me. So I’d have to name him as a good cook. He really seems to enjoy it. An enjoys using my kitchen since I redid it to better suit company visiting.” Destiney laughs and shrugs her shoulders, holding up her left hand with a bandage on the one finger. “I seem to like trying to chop my fingers. Still not sure why Chee’s brother thinks it’s a good idea to let me cook.”
