(Destiney likes to try to be responsible and think first rather then diving into action. All actions have consequences and she doesn’t want to make the wrong choice. Especially if those choices could cost a friend their life. Yet she also understands that some things cannot be helped. Sometimes thinking about something is just as dangerous as acting first. So she attempts to use her best judgement with each situation.)

(Destiney thinks a lot. It varies though between daydreams, worries, and memories. It really depends on her mood to where her mind wanders. She does have a pretty good imagination though. Which helps with tossing around theories with Quarcy. So if she’s having a good moment her mind will wander more towards daydreams. If there is something going on that is stressful it’s more towards worries. If she is feeling low then it’s more of memories of the past.)

“I wouldn’t say forced… But I hate to lie as well…” Dest sighs and puts a hand to her forehead. “It is not like I can exactly tell them some of the things I hear from my one friend though. Not when they only see him as a monster. I see something more beneath the surface then they are willing to see. So I merely no longer bother to tell them when I speak with my friend. Not telling them is easier then lying to them.”
“No. But I have few I would trust with secrets anyways.” Stefan shrugs and picks up his pen to begin writing down something. “Now if you excuse me I have work to do.”

“…” Dest takes a deep breath before sighing softly. “I don’t think it is that simple anymore. I can say there are many things I wish I hadn’t done. Yet how would changing that have changed the life I currently have? If I hadn’t tried to kill myself would I have met my Uncle and Leon? Or the friends I have now? Yes not all my choices have been smart but I have to think that some of those choices did lead me to good things in the long run. So there is no point now in wishing I hadn’t done them. I just need to make better choices now rather then worrying over the past.”
“Running away…” Stefan scowls and turns his back towards the asker. “Happy now? Go away.“

“Well… I guess that depends if you are asking about my favorite to play or to listen to. I’m not very good at playing an instrument though I know the basics with a small harp. Leon taught me. My favorite to listen to are string instruments. Harps and violins. Certain Duskwights…” Dest laughs softly. “Have given me a reason to fall in love with those sounds. They were so good at coaxing such gorgeous music from those instruments. I could listen to them play all day. Leon and Basteaux are very good musicians. Even if Bast doesn’t think he is.”

“I have this book of old fairy tales that I like. As much as I enjoy learning new things or novels for the sake of reading… I really like some of the old fairy tales. Not that I want to be some damsel in need of a knight to save her.” Dest scoffs and rolls her eyes. “I’d rather not be the damsel. I guess I just like to remember what it was like when Leon was alive still. He used to turn an occasional fairy tale into a funny song. Just to make me smile because I had very little reason to smile back then.”
“Any sort of books on history and old ruins. Definitely books on magic.” He begins rambling off on various books, his ruby carbuncle watching him wander off as he rambles. No longer even paying any attention to the original question or anyone else. Esper finally trotting off after the boy.

(Dest will do it with tender touches such as kisses to a cheek or a hug. Maybe even taking a hold of their hand and just holding it for the sake of touching them. Sometimes thoughtful little trinkets depending on who it is or what they like. But don’t confuse her platonic feelings for friends/family for romance. She loves a lot of people as friends/family but very rarely anyone romantically. Dest does things in small tender ways because she’s afraid of those words anyways. First because of her failed marriage and then when she was shot down hard by a friend after saying those words.)
